  2. It’s 1 stick of salted butter.
  3. Prepare 1/2 cup of all purpose flour.
  4. It’s 1 quart of whole milk.

  6. It’s 1 of bread crumbs.

  1. preheat oven to 425°F.
  2. cook macaroni according to texture preference/direction on the box; drain when finished.
  3. melt butter in medium saucepan.
  4. add flour and stir constantly until rue is a peanut butter color.
  5. add milk.
  6. add cheese a bit at a time, stirring constantly to keep from burning on the bottom.
  7. cheese mixture is done when creamy.
  8. add macaroni to a 13×9 baking dish.
  9. add cheese mixture on top.
  10. add bread crumbs to form a thin layer on top.
  11. bake for 20 minutes.
